About Me

No one ever taught me how to cook. In fact, my earliest experiences cooking included burning toast, blowing up eggs in the microwave and plenty of other embarrassing cooking flops. When it came to cooking, I really was clueless.

However, after eating Ramen for my first year of having my own kitchen, I had a real sense of motivation to learn. Though the first things I learned were simple; how to make spaghetti and rice, how to boil vegetables, and how to fry eggs, I soon moved on to more complicated ventures. I learned that I could make most anything just by following a recipe.

That was years ago and it has been a long time since I've been clueless in the kitchen. However, I recently realized that there were plenty of cooking opportunities I had been overlooking. I never imagined how easy it would be to bake my own bread, make my own yogurt or even to make homemade ice cream. I had always bought these things from the store which was very easy indeed. However, with the help of cooking machines and on-line recipes, I've discovered that I can make most anything at home and with minimal time and effort. Now that I make my own candy, chips, salsa, pasta, sauces, salad dressing and much more, I can proudly leave the grocery store without one processed food item in my cart.

So I've made this blog as a guide and as an inspiration for anyone who may feel clueless about cooking and wishes to learn more. Since my cooking adventure is far from over, follow me and find out just how easy making unprocessed foods can be.
